Cities fascinate me. I think it’s because we like our lives in them - urban spaces define our cultures, beliefs, aspirations, and artistic inspirations. Cities are playgrounds for a photographer.

My favourite city is…
So this is a tricky one. Given only one choice, I’d have to say that Rome is my favourite city. There is so much atmosphere, with every street offering something new to photograph, or just to stop and admire. And, of course, there is the coffee. The coffee! Any place where I can sit with an espresso and watch the Italian world go by is fine by me
