New workshops and a website

Having procrastinated for a good three years, I finally decided it was time for a new website. As a photographer, shooting great images is only half the battle; after all, if you can’t display them in an attractive way, what’s the point, right? My old site simply wasn’t cutting it anymore. That is, unless you enjoyed looking at a page that had the aesthetic of a 1980s school IT class project.

Anyway, welcome to the new-look fenechimages! I’m still working on the shop, but prints should be available to purchase very shortly.

The first thing that’s hopefully noticeable is how BIG the images are in my new galleries. Another thing I hated about my old website was how impossible it was to view images full-screen. Well, I’ve remedied that and have probably over-compensated by making these galleries virtually thumbnail-less; all images can be viewed full screen or close. I believe photos, especially landscapes, should be immersive, and this is hopefully the experience that is found throughout.

My new Paris photography tour is now live with Light & Land

In other news, my new tours and workshops are now live with the lovely people at Light & Land! I’ve always enjoyed teaching other creatives, but in my job editing magazines, for all the photo-centric content creation, I rarely got the opportunity to tutor photographers face-to-face. So, I’m therefore thrilled to be finally set up as a L&L tutor. You can hop on my first workshop, in the beautiful medieval city of Durham, in November 2025, or join me in Paris in May 2026 for a three-day photography holiday. I love both of these cities dearly and can’t wait to show you around. Hop on over to the L&L website to find out more.

Durham in autumn is magical, so join me on 4th November 2025 for a fun day of photography and frivolity

All the information about my workshops you’ll need can be found over on Light & Land. If you have any questions, give me a shout and I’ll be happy to point you in the right direction.
